Where has the summer gone?
Here it is Labor Day Weekend already -
and that means that we will have
Open Sewing on Mon, Sept 2nd from 10am - 5pm.
Please bring your own lunch
and come and "labor" with us for the day.
Our 10th annual North State River Run shop hop starts Wed, Sept 11th and ends Sat, Sept 14th.
The hours will be 9am - 7pm each day.
We have 13 shops participating this year.Visit all 13 shops and be entered to win one of many great prizes including the grand prize of a Bernina 350 sewing machine. Each shop will have a 15% discount on all regularly priced fabrics, notions, books, and patterns. We will also be playing Bingo again.
Due to the River Run there will not be Open Sewing on Wed, Sept 11th. Our Birthday/Potluck has been moved to Wed, Sept 18th.
On a personal note, Larry and I are moving to Idaho in the near future. Therefore Blue Iris Quilt Shop will be available for sale soon.
Blue Iris is one of the best adventures I have ever had and I will miss all of you wonderful quilters. And I will miss the best ever employees! They are the real reason for our great success.
In the short term, it is business as usual. I will let all of you know what is happening as soon as I have more answers.
I am hopeful that there is someone that will want to keep this shop open. If any of you are interested in owning a place of true joy and beauty, please let me know.
