Yesterday I tried 4 times to write this newsletter without success. Maybe it was not meant to be sent out on a gloomy, rainy day. Today however, I am guessing that my 1st try at writing this will be successful, because it is warm and sunny out today! I must say that I am much more of a fan of sunny weather than gloomy weather, unless of course, I can stay home cuddled under a warm quilt, either in front of a fireplace or watching TV and having popcorn! I'm betting that most of you feel the same way. We all have stormy days in our lives that we have to deal with, but we are always happy when the storm passes and the sun shines again. Here's to sunshine!
Yesterday, I was trying to figure out how we got to the end of October already...what in the world happened to July? And speaking of July, did you know that we only have 61 days left until Christmas?? That's not very long ladies to get all of our projects done for Christmas...or even our shopping if you don't want to wait til the last minute...just sayin'!
Maybe some of our upcoming classes will help you get motivated..so on with that.
Sat. Oct 25th - Sincerely Yours (Machine Embroidery) BOM w/Karen

Tues. Oct. 28th - Slash Your Stash w/Linda Ballard, 10am-5pm - $35.
This class is going to be a blast and we still have
openings available and it only requires 12 Fat Quarters
from you stash! Any stash will do!
Wednesdays - are always Open Sew Days and there is always room for
one more person! Bring your machine or hand sewing,
knitting etc. or just come to chit chat - everyone is
welcome! The 2nd Wednesday of each Month is always
our Birthday/Potluck day!
Sat. Nov 1st - Applique Tote Bag w/Mary Brunn, 10-4pm - $35 plus
Pattern. This class is from a pattern by Sue Spargo only
instead of wool & hand stitching, you will be using your
machine decorative stitches and cotton materials. We still
have openings for this class so come and join the fun!
1st Saturday of the Month is also our 20% off Backing Material if you bring in your finished Quilt Top!
Tues. Nov 4th - Woven Tablerunner/Placemat w/ Margie McGraw $15.
1pm to 4:30pm or 5pm to 9pm

Nov 17th - Mon - Intro to Paper Piecing w/Bonnie Keller - $10 -
10am-2pm
This class deserves an explaination. In the intro class,
you will be doing a small Paper Pieced project, however,
the purpose of this class is also to introduce you to our
new Paper Piecing Club which will start in January
2015. We are very excited about this club and hope
that you will be too, so be sure to sign up for this intro
project to learn more!
