HOLIDAY NEWS FROM BLUE IRIS

I'm not sure how it happened, but here we are again past Halloween and looking Thanksgiving and Christmas right in the eye! I do have to say that I love this time of year and I love the changing colors on the trees....Fall has always given way to all the colors that I love no matter what the time of year!  I was able to make a trip down to Southern California to see my Mom, my Daughter and family, as well as a few friends.  No worries while I was gone, because as you all know, I have some AMAZING gals working here.  They took care of everything....I wonder if they missed me! Hmmmmm!

Before we get into what's happening the rest of this year here at Blue Iris Quilt Shop, I'd like to take a moment to congratulate Robyn Embry for being one of the winners of the Robin the Bobbin Contest in conjunction with the Row by Row Experience Shop Hop.  For those of you who don't know, Robbin the Bobbin, is the official Mascot for the Row by Row.....Robyn (Embry not Bobbin) purchased her pattern for Robbin (Bobbin not Embry) at Blue Iris.............so does that make Robyn (Embry not Bobbin) our official Mascot?????????????????  Just thinking!

We've been busy with several different multiple day classes and Retreats in the last few weeks, hosting Donna Greenwald, Jill Schumacher, and Linda Ballard, and fortunately for us, they have all scheduled classes for next year.  YEA!!!  Pauline and Natalie are in the mood for Christmas and they came up with weekly classes for small, easy Christmas gifts.  The classes have been well received and best of all, the people taking the classes now have gifts to give for the Holidays!  It's not too late to sign up for one of these classes if your interested!

We've had a lot of new fabrics come in the last few weeks.  A lot of gorgeous Batiks from Hoffman, Anthology and Fresh Water Designs.  We have gotten in several new lines of fabric, Yoriko "Dependable" is a cute Asian Panel accompanied by a line in reds, blacks and tans from Quilting Treasures.  We also received a line from Exclusively Quilters, Bellisimo,  in reds/yellows, black and white;also in, Forrest Friends, a Hoffman Digital print and Autumn Fields from Lewis and Irene which depicts a cute little mouse theme!

What's coming up through the rest of the year?  Well let's see:
