Calendar

Giving Day Sew-in

We have changed Project Linus Day to "Giving Day" so that if you want to make wraps for cancer patients going through Chemo, or quilts/blankets for other local organizations or hats for babies born with heart defects, you can sew your heart out and give to the charitiy or charities that are important to you. Blue Iris contributes the room for you to work on your charity items, usually the last Monday of the month. The important thing about "Giving Day" is that it allows you a place to spread out, a place to gather with friends (old and new) and it allows you to give back to your community and support what is important to each of you, individually. All are welcome to participate!

Curvey Log Cabin

Another great class with Karen Ottoboni. In this class Karen will be teaching you another technique, which is similar to paper-piecing, but instead of using a paper template that you have to tear out, you will be learning how to use a fabric panel for this unique Curved Log Cabin. The great thing about using Foundation Fabric is that there is no paper to remove at the end of the construction! There are a number of ways to set this curved log cabin and several sizes you can make with it. Sign ups are now being taken!

Heartland Heritage Block of the Month

This is a great Block of the Month, and it includes the patterns, all fabrics, and several bonus projects along the way. Come join in on the fun beginning Feb. 3rd 2018. Limited seats available so sign up now!
