Bird Walk Block of the Month

Come join us for a New Block of the Month on the 3rd Saturday of each month beginning in March. The finished quilt size is approximately 50" x 66"; it consists of traditional piecing, machine applique and paper piecing utilizing Primo Batiks River Rock by Marcus Brothers.

Project Linus Sew-in Day

There is a new Chapter for Project Linus in the Redding area and Blue Iris is setting aside a special day each month for those of you who would like to use our sewing room and make your own quilts for Project Linus. The Project Linus Contact is: Donna Bucey and her number, if you have any questions, is: 530 222-3740. The size quilts that you can make for Project Linus are: Infant - 1 yard Toddler/Small Child - 1 1/2 yards and Large Child/Teen - 2 Yards Long by Width of Fabric. This is a wonderful charity to support and all of your quilts will go to local children. Hope you can join in!

Beginning Quilting

If you ever wanted to learn how to quilt or to sharpen your skills this is the class for you. Margie McGraw will teach you all the steps in the quilt-making process, from cutting and piecing to machine quilting and binding your quilt.
