Project Linus Sew-in Day

There is a new Chapter for Project Linus in the Redding area and Blue Iris is setting aside a special day each month for those of you who would like to use our sewing room and make your own quilts for Project Linus. The Project Linus Contact is: Donna Bucey and her number, if you have any questions, is: 530 222-3740. The size quilts that you can make for Project Linus are: Infant - 1 yard Toddler/Small Child - 1 1/2 yards and Large Child/Teen - 2 Yards Long by Width of Fabric. This is a wonderful charity to support and all of your quilts will go to local children. Hope you can join in!

Wide Open Spaces

"Wide Open Spaces" is another Linda Ballard creation! This is a three color quilt and is a very stunning quilt. While on Linda's Retreat in Bandin, several of the attendees had made this quilt and gave us quite a show and tell....they were all beautiful! So, if you are looking for a quilt that is beautiful and timeless, this will be a class that you will definitely want to take! Linda is a great teacher and she will amaze you with her tips and techniques; you will learn so much!
