| Requirements: | A supply list will be furnished at time of payment for class...other than that, a willingness to learn new techniques and a great attitude! Beginning Quilt-making Class Supply List: 5/8 yard of 5 different fabrics. Three lights and two darks, or three darks/two lights (find a fabric you love, and then pick coordinates to go with that) Rotary Cutter with new, sharp blade Quilting Ruler ? 6? x 24? or 6-1/2? by 24? Quilting Ruler ? 12-1/2? square Sewing Machine in good working order If you have a 1/4? patchwork piecing foot for your machine, bring it. Straight Pins Scissors Seam Ripper Thread to coordinate with your fabrics. Cutting mats, irons and an ironing board are supplied by the shop. The following items will be needed by class week #3 Even feed/walking foot for your machine (if you have one) Batting for your quilt ? Cotton, Silk or Wool at least 40? x 40? (no polyester please) Backing fabric ? 1-1/4 yards, binding fabric ? 3/8 yard (not that pre-packaged stuff!)
