July Events:
Tomorrow. July 18th - Mary Bruun will be teaching us how to make baskets or bags in the "It's Just a Wrap" class. The cost is $30 + the book and will be from 10am - 4pm.
Friday, July 19th - UFO Club Meeting & Sew Day
We will meet from 10am - 12pm for show and tell. Anyone wishing to stay and work on their UFO projects are welcome to stay until 5pm and sew.
Thur, Fri, & Sat, July 25th, 26th, 27th - We are having our 2nd Elephant Party taught by Lynette. This is a 3-day retreat. The cost is $75 + pattern (you choose which critter you want to make) and we provide breakfast goodies and lunch each day. We have had a couple of last minute cancellations so there is still room.
Mon & Tue, July 29th & 30th & Tue, Aug 6th - Jackie Savage will be teaching the Joy/Noel Banner. The cost for this 3 day class is $45 + book and will be from 10am - 4pm.
Aug Events:
Thursday, Aug 1st - In the Strippy Scrap Quilt class by Lois Moore, you will learn how to turn your scraps and leftover binding into a great quilt. The cost is $25 and will be from 10am - 4pm.
Friday, Aug 2nd - UFO Sew Day from 10am - 4pm (This is not a meeting day just a sew day)
Saturday, Aug 3rd - Our Block of the Month group will meet from 10am - 12pm.
Friday, Aug 9th - Brown Bag Friday Nite Open Sew
We have open sewing on the 2nd Friday night of each month. Bring your dinner and join us from 5pm - 10pm. There is no charge for this.
Tuesday, Aug 13th - "Little Things" Owl Pincushion & Tape Measure Cover. On the 2nd Tuesday of each month we have a "Little Things" class. The cost is $8 and that includes a kit with some of the supplies you will need. The class is from 10am - 2pm. Please sign up and get your supply list.
Wednesday, Aug 14th - Birthday Potluck and Open Sew
We will celebrate Aug Birthdays, eat and sew from 10am - 5pm.
We have Open Sewing every Wednesday from 10am - 5pm.
Saturday, Aug 17th - Brigid's Cross is a fun modern look quilt taught by Scarlett Rose. This class is $30 and is from 10am - 4pm.
Sun, Mon & Tue, Aug 18th, 19th & 20th - New Twist on Strips N Curves Party - a 3-day Retreat. Lindy Ballard is teaching this class. The cost is $125 + book and is from 10am - 5pm each day. We serve breakfast goodies and lunch each day.
